Viable as in the best SP/hour. There are many other ways to get SP but post-patch grinding parties are currently the fastest option.

All you've done is pissed and moaned over a much needed re-balancing of this game, and statements from the producer which you obviously have either taken way too literally or completely out of context.
I have not pissed or moaned I have merely repeated countless times a simple truth. I took the statements exactly as he meant them. The context was the process of ranking up. SP gains were lowered, the process has been slowed down, ranking up process has been nerfed. How difficult is that to understand?
