That's what I meant.I havnt heard of anyone quitting over Guildleves.
Also, there needs to be a mix of ways to proceed through the game. Guildleves and small sidequests offer a more solid system for people who have less time to play than some. Of course, longer and more "adventure" like ways to gain sp is always more fun (in my opinion at least). But let's not forget that more time consuming options are not always available

I meant: let's make guildleves more fun and engaging.
Nowhere did I suggest to make them more time-consuming.
They are, for the time they take to accoumplish. They offer a short term, quick fire challenge with a simple but effective goal intended.
The levequests arn't meant to be grand, legendary adventures (the likes Bilbo Baggins embarks upon). They are tasks which the cities issuing them feel are needed to do.
For something that takes (max) 30 mins from start to finish, I think they are ok. There are always ways to spice things up a little with them. Quickly leveling up a different job, or try a more challenging difficulty. Failing that, why not grab just one other person to accoumplish them with. Not too consuming to find one other person, and if you befriend, it will make sorting larger groups out easier later in the game.
