


That's what I'd like to know. It makes no sense.Good to know we don't have to wait for GM's to do this, I assumed it would be similar to FFXI's considering how similar he made it sound on the live letter. On the other hand you hit the nail on the head, it's going to be hell trying to get a time slot that works for you if you want to "bond". I still don't see why this couldn't have been entirely handled in-game. So, If the GM's aren't actually doing the ceremony, why does it need to be "scheduled" through the lodestone.
Yep, Having to fight thru the hoard of other players for a "scheduled time" will make me not even bother, Which is disappointing because my husband and I were really looking forward to it this time since in XI you had to be male>female and we both played female characters.
You send out invitations (item) via MogMail - supposedly these invitations transport everyone invited to a special instance for the marriage ceremony - it even allows the Bride(s) & Groom(s) separate staging areas to get into their outfits before taking the plunge...
That'd be why.
