I kinda like the ones that sell shards.
They make 'em real cheap, ya know? Otherwise, crafting would be completely shitty.

like I said, there are bots and RMT in every game. Also, keep in mind that not all bots are RMT.Autobot FTW!
Optimus Prime {You can have this!}
well, you can say there is no bot in FFXI, WoW, Ragnarok Online, Rift, etc.....
Also, you can say there is no gilseller/RMT in those games also. ( well, first day of playing those game, you'll get some /tell to selling money, at least not much RMT in FFXIV that try to tell/shout everyday as other game. )
Bot is a challenge that game maker must face, and they have to find some way that limitation on bot or make system un-botable. ( gathering fatigue is one of the bot prevention method )
This is my guess why SE just do nothing with bot
Yoshi-P : Dear President Wada, we have a list of bot report user as in attach file. I need your direction what do deal with them.
Wada : ( not even open attach file ) Yoshida-san, how many users in this file that look like bot?
Yoshi-P : Around 50% of all population, sir
Wada : 50% omg! Well... we can't risk to lose any more playerbase, let them bot while they can until we start to charge the money from them for 6 months first.
Yoshi-P : Sir.... but game economy might rui....
Wada : STFU! IF MY FREE-FOR-1-YEAR DECISION IS LEAD TO FEWER PLAYERBASE, I WILL BE FIRED BY SQUARE-ENIX BOARD! So stop complaining and just ignore those rants in forum and continue fixing this damn game! No more talking about bot again!
Yoshi-P : Sir... yes!sir!
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
Of course not. They just become filthy rich with no effort.like I said, there are bots and RMT in every game. Also, keep in mind that not all bots are RMT.
Not necessarily rich, but using a bot gives them a considerable (and, in my opinion: undeserved) advantage over all other players. Which I don't consider desirable. Would you want to join a game where the economy or especially valuable loot is controlled by third party programs?
I, for my part, would prefer an environment where everybody at least gets a fair shot. After all, this is a fantasy world.![]()
You do get a fair shot. Everyone has access to bots =) As far as your question, every MMO that I've ever played has had bots and RMTs running the game...so it would be nothing new to me.Not necessarily rich, but using a bot gives them a considerable (and, in my opinion: undeserved) advantage over all other players. Which I don't consider desirable. Would you want to join a game where the economy or especially valuable loot is controlled by third party programs?

I hate that conclusion, but at the moment it seems like it is the only sensible one.You do get a fair shot. Everyone has access to bots =)
Oh well. Perhaps I should give it a try with a friend's account who quit playing a few
weeks ago.![]()
What you forget is that you bringing absolutely empyrical "support" of them being bots is by no way actual evidence.
"I believe it's a bot!" is not enough for a GM to ban someone, unfortunately.
Botting is bad, but it's laughable to think that a developer should ban on this kind of data.
