    On topic, please no, thanks. I avoided 1.0 like the plague because it was horrible. I have no interest in playing it, never have, never will. 2.x is good fun.

    VII wasn't finished, either. To be fair, it was finished, but not by Square proper. About halfway they shipped it off to their US branch for completion. You can tell this best in the cutscene quality and in Tifa especially.

    To be fair, they didn't have Yoshi back then for QA purposes aka "No! Recompose!"
