What people miss here is that this is one of the few mmos that still use gates, and that in a vertical progression game no one likes to be stuck in outdated content.

Gate will be removed during the expansion and they'll providing a way for everyone who didn't finish coil to find about the story. I don't think they were quite specific about this but it seems like they were implying you can unlock it all in solo mode. This makes sense since it requires less work on their end by having to adjust the difficulty again and having to hear people complain about non existent ques for coil easy mode.

Its not hard in the sense of mechanics and difficulty. I understand them. I have even managed to get to the last phase of the fight. It's just the lack of compitent people that want to run it. If youre basically not a new member of a full static that has cleared the raid before or you cant find a full group of people who have cleared T5 or are at the current point with the rest of the endgame crowd, you are not likely to catch up or stay on top of new content. My grievances arent with the fight, but with the people who cant even work phases properly. With that said, its either ease the content or I somehow manage to convince a group to help me in endgame that has beaten it before. Most of the people who are past that on my server though charge around 5 mil-10mil for a completion run. And the people who I find to run it arent even trying and are just there for the carry or dont know the mechanics. It's really, really frustrating to complete the content at that point.

No they wont. Making endgame content easier on people isnt the end of everything. There is a ton of other stuff you can do in the game other then COIL.

Nope, because it all starts with Nerfing Past content. Then when you get your wish, you will ask for Raiding in General to be nerfed into the ground. Pretty soon all content will be on the difficulty of hard mode dungeons and will take no effort to complete. This WILL start happening.

I get your point. It's rough being in a position like that, but in the end it comes down to how you deal with it. Most people I know that were in the same position ended up joining a free company that helped them out, and eventually they got into a static from there on out.

You have no idea how incredibly ironic it is coming from those who aren't doing coil.

what hardcore who want hard content gets : 4 boss every 6 months
