Anyone who agrees with this thread should realize that they will be contributing to this games demise. Watering down content because it's "too hard for you" is not going to work, never will work and is not the solution.

Nope, because it all starts with Nerfing Past content. Then when you get your wish, you will ask for Raiding in General to be nerfed into the ground. Pretty soon all content will be on the difficulty of hard mode dungeons and will take no effort to complete. This WILL start happening.
You've already been proven wrong. Accessibility for drops form first to second coil was made more restrictive, and has already been declared that that system of ilvl advancement from second coil will be repeated for third.Nope, because it all starts with Nerfing Past content. You also fail to quantify your statement. "This will happen" Has no time marker on it. Ten years down the road when your argument isn't even valid anymore Square Enix may choose to make the game more generally accessible and you'll scream like an old man shaking his cane 'see, I was right!'
This is the same for all those calling slippery slope or other such logical falicies. They'll keep their predictions as broad as possible so they have the least chance of being wrong, even when history continues to do so.
Count yourself among those who said this game would be free to play inside six months. I however will remember your augment with bemusement a year from now when we're into 3.2 and the situation hasn't changed. I'll have some nice recipes for how to eat crow for you then.
I'm guessing the concept of power creep escapes you.
There is a lot about MMO and gaming communities in general you may need to educate yourself upon before weighing in on things. I'd also recommend economics, game design and human behaviors as well, but we'll take things one step at a time.
Point being you couldn't be more historically wrong. Most games without sliding difficulties fall flat or rely on a small niche to get by. The higher up in difficulty you go, the smaller the niche.

No it wont. This is a gross overreaction.Nope, because it all starts with Nerfing Past content. Then when you get your wish, you will ask for Raiding in General to be nerfed into the ground. Hardcore players are progressive endgamers. They will conquer the new content, milk it for its moneys worth and move on, but where does that leave us casual players? If the head of the endgame community is no longer playing it intensively then they should nerf the content so that way the casuals or people who are skilled enough but not lucky enough to find a group to advance to the current level of the endgame community can clear it.
Stop being an ass and let others enjoy quality content the developers made for everyone. Not just the endgame community, especially when its no longer being used.
15% echo buff and 20 item level jump, if that's not enough of a Nerf for you then you are simply not taking the time to learn any of the mechanics or you are not taking the time to join a free company and ask for them to help you.
I run a Free Company and have helped 10 of my members clear Turn 5 coil, and then proceeded to make a static with some of those same people and we cleared turn 6 thru 8.
Do your part and pull your weight in the fight instead of coming on here and asking for them to ruin everyone elses experience so that you can see what happens to your favorite FF character. Think I sound harsh? Well guess what, you are threatening to ruin this game by asking for content to become watered down, soon it will be more and more content. And you also falsely proclaim that the majority of the playerbase hasnt even cleared Turn 5 and that like 0.0001% of the entire playerbase has cleared SCoB, which is utter nonsense.
Lol, have you not read my previous posts? I know the mechanics for turn 5. I can beat coil. My problem is that either nobody wants to help, they charge too much for me to buy their help or if I get help, they wont or cant even clear content because they are expecting to be carried through it. It's not my fault that I havent cleared T5 yet. It's the fault of everyone else and I shouldnt have to suffer because nobody wants to help.
Bottom line is, if the current endgame groups have cleared and milked the current hardest content for all it's worth, then it shouldn't matter if they nerf old content or not.
Find better friends then. Your current friendship group must be pretty horrible if they cannot take 10 mins of their time to help you with a fight.Lol, have you not read my previous posts? Uh, it's kinda true. There's not that many groups who actually successfully cleared SCoB. There are things called sales, ya know.
Also, why are you being so butthurt? Jeez. You're getting Final Coil of Bahamut. What, do you still need gear from SCoB?
There are two to three groups. Casual and Hardcore.
You do realize not everyone has all the time in the world to learn the raids. Yes, they can watch videos, but can they actually provide time? Some players have families, and they need to attend to them before the game.
are you still a child or what? Cause your posts are damned bias.
Things are going to change in the future. Old content is old content. Sooner or later, you're going to be saying "The hell is the Coil of Bahamut?"
pls.
No they wont. Making endgame content easier on people isnt the end of everything. There is a ton of other stuff you can do in the game other then COIL.
