I know translating is an immense amount of work but I'll do it if no one else will lol, half serious about that! here's hoping a dev says this post and considers contacting me! I have experience with translating and teaching languages.

I don't think you realize what you're getting yourself into...this game is HUGE and the amount of little things that need to be translated is damn near excessive. Add to that your translation can really go off the rails depending on which version you're translating from.
Here's a hint: Except for Urianger and Yugiri, everyone in the Japanese version speaks fairly normal Japanese.
In the English version? Everyone speaks like characters from Victorian literature at best and Shakespeare at worse (I'm lookin' at you, Urianger)
And given this "style" is also used in the DQ games and Ivalice final fantasies...ugh.

I guess other languages will be real hard thing to see, as long as the English version is still missing a good number of voiced cutscenes of the Main Scenario quests.

I'd like launch something different: make the text and voice available in clear text and audio files in a directory, so every fan of the game can, alone or with a group, make it translated in its own language, just replacing that files. Only drawback, are the spoilers if you look at scripts, but it is up to you dig into them or not

Si el juego fuera traducido, supongo que será en un español de España por la estética del juego , tal como ocurrió con la traducción de inglés que es como muy teatral y muy al estilo británico/ isabelesco, que para jugadores como nosotros ese inglés es bastante difícil entenderlo y puedes estar horas dando vueltas por una zona sin entender que estas haciendo, incluso hablando bien el idioma.
