I agree with alot of what you just wrote, but this one got me confused:



Every endgame dungeon drops accessories of their respective ilvl, means the current expert dungeons drop i80 accs, 'old' expert dungeons (mythflox etc.) drop i70 accs, the i60 dungeons drop i60 accs... That being said, 5 out of 6 ex primals drop accs, every coil turn drops accs, ultima hm drops accs...

tl;dr

Almost all lvl50 (endgame-) content drops accs, with the only real exceptions being hm primals, levi ex and CT/ST... No idea what you mean with your statement.

I was specifically talking about 8-mans. Coil, Ultima, Ramuh. And in hindsight, I was probably being far too general, sorry.

Woah woah. First off, you're right on a lot of stuff, but wrong on some other stuff. First off yes competition is purely accessories depending on group composition, EXCEPT in the case of Bard pre Ninja being dex. Before unless you're taking two bards for some reason they wont be competing for anything with anyone aside from sub lots. Next there is zero concrete evidence to whether Ninja does or does not have Blood for Blood, internal release, etc. Because in the teaser no Cross class skills were shown period. Being LNC/PGL Cross class alone shows they probably do get those buffs.

So in short, Yeah you're right about the competing for loot, it's all dependent on group composition, but you're wrong about the Ninja info relating to OGCD buffs.

The argument carries a lot more weight if you argued using tanks or healers in your example. You don't really need a bard in party (they help a ton, though), but you will need a tank. Anyway, done talking about it.

Also, I wasn't talking about ninja cross-class abilities...


I should have an updated opening post this weekend (maybe, hopefully). I'm curious, though, do you guys want a class/job picture for appearances? If so, which one? Please keep it related to FFXIV. If anyone can get a clean shot of the Coil gear I could post it.
