I will transfer to your server. Will you run with me?You misunderstood me YET again.
I didn't say it was stupid to throw money at something, I simply said that is what you're doing.
The stupid part is "Nerfing Content" because a few players don't spend time or "have time" to work on something. All these excuses about 100 myth message too... You seriously cannot ask a clear group that you got to like 5% or something, or you can ask them to join and tell them you know all the mechanics and you're dedicated to get the win, if you don't perform you can just have them replace you. WHY CANT YOU DO THAT? If you can't do that in-game work, then it really does sound like Subscription money bribery and waving money at people.
Actually, do not have to transfer. I will contact you in 2.4 and we can organize a time to queue for t7 through df, you can meet up with me.

Um, I joined a random Turn 5 Pug the other night because I was bored.
I've run Titan EX for fun and because it was in the duty finder and I wanted to practice my Monks DPS rotation.
I've run Moggle Mog EX for LS members.
I help people OUTSIDE OF MY FC
I help people inside my FC
Do not use the "elitist" excuse that just because we can beat Turn 9, doesn't mean we Never help people get clears of other things. Actually that excuse is not an excuse, its a direct insult to players with the intention of making them look like jerks because they are dedicated to clearing content. You're buying into the non-sense that in gaming there are only two types of people: Elitists and Baddies. I am not an elitist and I clear Coil Turn 9 as well as help other people, so don't try and push that BS on me.

Same here. We do coil for 2-3 hours, 1-2 times a week and are currently on Turn 8. We started when patch 2.3 landed and made a lot of progress.LOL... My Static spent 4 hours per week, 4 hours in 1 week! That's NOTHING! And we beat Turn 6 in 2 weeks, beat Turn 7 in 2 weeks, Turn 8 took another 2 weeks of progression. And that is very Average progression, we were a Social/Casual group, not even hardcore AT ALL, we would joke around in Teamspeak all the time and laugh about dumb crap. We Weren't Even Hardcore!!!
Your schedule is SO cramped up that you can't find a static to join that spends 4 hours PER WEEK, dude... Why even subscribe to this game if you can't spend 4 hours per week playing it???
And thats why Coil REALLY needs a nerf. Not in numbers, but in mechanics. It's pure artificial difficulty at it's finest, and worse, people actually support that kind of garbage. You having bigger numbers on your screen isn't going to do a thing when someone puts a Conflag on the party in T5, gets half the team petrified in T7, gets people eaten on T6, etc. It's a TERRIBLE gameplay mechanic to tie the entirety of a raid to whoever is the worst player in any given group. Because you're not playing the game, you're fighting against other players stupidity and ineptitude."The problem isn't that the mechanics are difficult. The problem is that one bad player on your team can trigger a 1-shot mechanic to wipe the entire party. You can have 7 good players and they won't be able to progress because that one bad player"
"echo and mechanics changes do nothing to alleviate the articial difficulty created by 1-shot mechanics."
Simple mechanics do not make for an easy fight.
As far as boo'ing...people's reactions during live events are more mob mentality than anything resembling rational thought, and as such shouldn't be taken seriously. Reminds me of that one time during an FFXI fanfest back when summoners were not getting parties unless every other WHM on the server was busy doing something that someone asked Tanaka & Co if they could give SMN something like refresh so that they could get into groups in the role RDMs and BRDs filled at the time. People then were also idiots and boo'd at it. *shrug*
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
I just wish they would add everything to the Duty finder from the get-go. I don't really want someone to hold my hand or give me hand outs, Simply put, I'm just no good at interacting with people, I just want to get in say "Hi everyone!", do the fight, lose, ReQ, lose, lose, lose, ReQ, lose, lose, ReQ, finally win and be happy about it, all at my leisure. No relying on other people to be on, schedules, drama. Just get in Q, lose or win and move on.
Won't happen sure, but I love the game so much I can wait the 6 months to do old content.
i cleared TitanX, with ilv 73 blm, when ppl were crying BLM is the suckiest job you can take there, and demanding ilv 85+ ppl....and i was highest dps. There is the one side. Special snow flakes that are like "I don't want others to have the gear that I have"
There is the other side. A lot of players that are like "Would mechanic x or y be a bit less punishing, we would have cleared it."
Abd of COURSE T1-9 is easy for YOU if you have Nexus/High allagan weapon and maximum current available iLvL thanks to soldery and high allagan. There still are people, who would have thought, that are not overgeared for every thing in the game.
ilv don't matter, knowing the machanics, does.
only t8-9 have strict dps checks. 1st coil is easy with echo.
ppl cleared T6, in mostly ilv 90gear, when it was first introduced...so gear isn't what makes the fights easy.
What?True and people even complain about that even nothing never good enough for some players those type of players need to have it were they can artifically content gate other players they deem unworthy because of precious gear they earned even though it will be trash later on down the game development cycle but for those horrible lesser players will be picking up the scraps left after you.
The point isn't about "content gating" , w/e the hell that means, "unworthy" players. The point is, if you're going to make the content X way, KEEP it that way. What is the point of making the content a challenge for ANYONE if all you're going to do is make it easier?
As for the gear comment. Yeah. I think it's ridiculous that the gear I'm busting my ass for is worthless 3 months down the road. I'd actually like to USE it for more than a few days before I'm GRINDING AGAIN for the NEWEST shiny thing. But, because they allowed those of us from 1.0 to keep our 50s and because 2.0 was limited on new EOG or Story Mode content, this is the dilemma you end up with.
Could you not join learning parties? The party finder is really useful for said stuff.I just wish they would add everything to the Duty finder from the get-go.
