    I think the drop chances become like this.
    if 1 player help, 7 man group could take 12.5% more loot since one player can not need them anymore(that would be op and broken system) = drop chance reduced 12.5%

    number of helpers = drop chance
    ->
    1 = 87.5%
    2 = 75%
    3 = 62.5%
    4 = 50%
    5 = 37.5
    6 = 25%
    7 = 12.5%

    I am really hoping they decide not to do this, cause what is the point of a static if everyone can static jump for 10 kills a week....My fc alone has like 60 people clearing t9, if we wanted to any 8 of us could farm it...Hopefully they decide against this

    Remember that everyone can only roll on loot after their first clear for the week. So in response to the concerns of others, sellers won't be able to keep running the same person through for guaranteed loot and people won't have any reason to static hop unless they just really like doing coil.

    Carries will still happen as they currently do since the system isn't actually changing any of the current loot lockout rules. Groups will still sell runs with full loot rights as the first run of the week. They'll then be able to sell discounted runs to other people throughout the week for the achievement. The thing that will reduce the demand for carries is that FC statics will now be able to help out other members.

    I'm really looking forward to this new system because I love spending time doing things with my FC and there are a few lonely souls who have no static

    Wait, if the drop rates get lower when there's one or more members who have already cleared the turn for that week, wouldn't it mean that me helping others would screw over one of two groups I'm playing with? I mean my static A runs on Friday, but our other FC group B runs on Tuesday right after reset. So if I agree to help group B that week, that would mean less drops for my own static A? I don't feel like that would be fair towards my group, especially when early Coil drops are very important for our future progression.

    Yes. So, you should only help others if you already have the clear with your main static then.

    Am I the only person saying "WTF?" at this thread? This sounds completely backwards. Not to mention I watched FanFest and don't remember hearing this yesterday. How does this affect statics who are farming SCoB for drops? Once they clear it, they get diminished returns on drop rates? Or did I miss something here?

    I could be (and probably am) misinterpreting it but since I didn't watch the LL, I can only go by what is in this mess of a thread. If your static clears it with its 8 original members together, nothing is different from how it is currently and presumably you will be loot locked. Now suppose you go help another group to sub or teach or whatever. Because you already cleared, the rest of that group will suffer a slight penalty to drop chance. Whether the group will be loot locked even if the chests do not appear is unknown, but that's the risk they take for bringing in someone with a clear for the week. Now suppose on the other end of spectrum you have 7 "helpers" for one other person. The drop chance will drop astronomically as a penalty for being "carried" by 7 people with clears for the week.

    Basically, the only difference from the proposed system and our current one is you can run coil as many times as you want, you just can't farm it for drops and "carrying" other groups imposes a penalty on them to compensate.

    Ahh, I understand. Is this in anticipation for FCoB? I imagine once the loot restriction is lifted for SCoB this will not affect that specific content, only current?
