Atma Rate more than Doubled in 2.4, Animus Books Cheaper

That's exactly what I meant, they were 100k (at least on my server) right when it started and no one knew (only the most advanced in Novus) how many IVs (or if any at all) you'd need. They stood on a steady 200kish for a while and now theyre 500~600k each. And that was my point, finally getting an atma weapon so you can spend millions and millions of gil (or kill your brain SBing) really late when it's so expensive :d So it's not a pay off.

Depends how they wanna min/max. Some wanna max out stats for the extra 10dps. Others prefer 3 stats for more fexibility.

Considering we're keeping the same stats on next upgrade(s?), yes you do, or at least you should aim for it.

or you can go with 3 stats, and skip the IV materias, and save miliions...
20crit=1%crit chance=0,5% increase in power.
whichever way you split it, your overall power boost, won't exceed 2-3%
so ppl are wasting millions, for nothing.
