That's possible, could be an either/or decision based on what secondaries NIN prefers.

Tbh I don't mind a ranged - melee dps that can switch back and fort but it does sounds kinda op I mean monk can't dps on range but ninja gets to range dps like normal so i feel is weird and unbalance

I imagine RGE/NIN having a vestigial ranged attack like Shuriken, but lacking real sustained damage at range.
They'll either:
1) Make Monk looking gear with DEX stats.
or
2) Add DEX to current Monk gear.

was confirmed that the monk stuff up to 2.3 will be changed and dex will be added.
by the way, ninja will be rogue 30 and pugilist 15... the cross class skill will be pugilist and lancer.
so now that nin and mnk get both STR and DEX , kinda like all the healer gear with accuracy

They are adding DEX onto MNK gear.
They dont share gear with BRDs because BRD gear doesn't fit their style.
They are DEX based so there arent 3 classes competing for STR accessories
Basically they are trying to maintain the aesthetics of ninja while keeping the playing field even.

Yeah, NIN using BRD gear would be pretty silly. And NIN's focusing on STR doesn't make much sense conceptually to me.
Seems like they took the path I suspected.

Some Monk Gear
X Str
Other stats
becomes
Some Monk/Nin Gear
X Str
X Dex
Other stats
Monk uses STR and does not benefit from DEX
Nin uses DEX and does not benefit from STR
Nin uses DEX accessories so now each attribute accessory now has more than 1 user.
Works fine I think?

STR affect damage for melee attack, even if it don't affect the skill the auto attack will be affected.
