    ninja gears

    gondai and yoshida just said that ninja will use monk gear... but be based dex. and adding that monk gear will have dex too.

    that make no sense... do they plan to switch monk to dex too? if that the case it's really really bad and how explain why the ninja will not use the bard armor?
    do i'm the only one that totally lost with this annoucement?!?

    I'm completely lost. Unless they play to rebalance all the monk gear, I don't see how this is going to work.

    Maybe they will require both strength and dexterity (makes sense. their attacks are a combo of meleeing daggers and throwing daggers), for which BRD's gear would utterly lack strength.

    the point is not this, monk so far have gear full str, why add a stats he will not use on him armor.
    or do they plan to switch monk to dex too? it's not clear how they have announce it.

    i hope no! they did the same error with the monk in the v1, it was str/int, it was impossible to get a good gear because you had only the armor and the weapon focus on this. more important if they do this, it means the class will share it jewelery with no one!

    I would be disappointed to see NIN in Bard gear. It just does not fit. MNK gear I can live with.

    I hoped they would throw in a bunch of new gear for NIN though..

    My guess is that they will add Dex to the shared gear (coils/CT etc) and each class will just have a somewhat useless stat when they equip it.
    Or Some skill to swap str or dex. Regardless, it was a really convoluted answer that needs to be clarified by somebody. They could be looking to branch slaying accs off into 2 sets, one for nin/mnk and one for drk/drg, with aiming going for the new rng.

    totally, because this news not only affect ninja now, but monk too. if they decide to switch the stats of the monk they need to say it...

    I wonder if Ninja will have a trait that switches all STR into DEX.

    My Monk has 581 STR in party and 219 DEX, so my Ninja is going to be uber gimp?
