It will also be nice to see more activity outside of the once a week people raid (Mostly tuesday).

Let me start by saying that I get what you're saying.
But the trick to it all is that, as a raid leader, you know what roles being swapped out will compromise the run integrity. A.k.a: as much as you want to try to help clear sometimes the party comp will hinder you. Thus it's not your fault to decline the offer.

its never been about cant get shiny stuff, its been about integrity of maintaining a skill set of player base to improve, you can improve your skill in all parts of the game, not just coil, also, its about players who can get stuff done getting bugged to hell, its protecting them from the hassle and guilt trips.Raiders who want to help others can get their new allagan sets faster, and those who don't have statics have an easier time getting through coil. I don't see the negative outside of the "OMG don't let anyone else get my shiny." Lockouts have seen a bad system from the start. FCs can now be FCs, instead of isolated 8 person groups.

If your static doesn't want to be begged for clears then you should make your own 8 person FC, nobody is forcing these "guilt trips" on you. Doesn't sound like you want any association from anyone else in your FC so what is the point? Or this sounds like an internal FC problem, if someone is griefing the rest of the FC for clears they should be kicked.its never been about cant get shiny stuff, its been about integrity of maintaining a skill set of player base to improve, you can improve your skill in all parts of the game, not just coil, also, its about players who can get stuff done getting bugged to hell, its protecting them from the hassle and guilt trips.

What exactly is the big deal with helping other players, especially your friends or fellow FC members? It's like you people want there to be a clear divide in the community instead of promoting teamwork.
To all the people saying "but i cant say no" this is exactly what I am speaking on. Just learn to creatively say no. dont let the system block your friends for you.
Remember for the new coil there will be no echo, so a tight composition will be needed for the first couple of weeks while people learn. This is coming from a person who hasnt even cleared 2nd coil. If i were to ask my FC for runs I would be very receptive to a no on the grounds of "our strategy isn't really solid enough to facilitate a swap out yet." or "we can try to get you experience in seeing the fight but cant promise a clear"

Holy balls. They are addressing one of the biggest issues of even bothering with FCs bigger than 8 people but then people complain they might be 'guilt-tripped' into actually helping people like this is some issue with the rules of the game and not an issue with their own social ineptitude?
There is no hope.

Truth. If you really don't want to help people, god forbid you just say 'no.'Holy balls. Looking quite forward to this myself. Being unable to help out fellow guildies has been a problem for quite a long time now. Several members have taken the time to level up alts to be able to do this. It'll be nice to just be able to do this on mains in the future.
