- We now know that "De Nevelle" and "La Thagran" are taken from the names of Elezen explorers. Are "La Noscea" and "Costa del Sol" also originally Elezen turns of phrase? If not, who coined them? For that matter- is Vylbrand, like it sounds, a Roegadyn name for the island? What about Limsa Lominsa? It sounds Lalafell in origin.
- Jandelaine's noble house is mentioned as being related to House Dzemael, if somewhat distantly. We're also aware that Dzemael's attempts to avoid the worst of Dravanian destruction involved digging deep into caverns to build shelter. Of course, we never see anybody from Dzemael itself. The burning question is: are the members of Dzemael Duskwight Elezen? Or are Jandelaine and Guillfresne only of the greyer persuasion of Elezen because of intermarriage? Additionally, does this ultimately mean that there is less of a divide between Duskwight and Wildwood in Coerthas, culturally, than there is in the Black Shroud?
