    While that would work to shorten the queues, it could cause the dreaded "ruin the immersion" scenario where you are dropped in on a party far into the dungeon. Players would miss out of EXP, gear, exploration, and lore. You know.... the entire point of running a dungeon for the first time!

    The in progress checkbox is always there for you to use if you want to get in and out, and higher level roulettes have PLENTY of experienced players utilizing it.

    Pretty much this. There's already a box to tick for those who want to. I don't even see the need to automatically have it activated for most instances. Some things are best to leave up to the player, rather than be forced on everone.

    It would be nice if SE would just save the preference per account. As often I simply forget to click it back on, even though I have no objection to join an in-progress dungeon.
