Seriously AarosLunos, you haven't said one good thing in this thread. You ignored the points of the OP, and took up bashing the people that play mage classes. If the dev team changed your class into another class you would not be happy about it. Plain and simple. When are you going to realize that this is what this is about.

A job that was clearly meant to be a Black Mage is now being forced to turn into a White Mage (with really crappy nuking abilities).

If the dev team wanted a white mage job then they should have just made one! Don't force CON to only heal when there is already a limited choice for disciples of magic. If the job system is not complete yet then why change any of the spells or the mp cost?

I'm not gonna bring out the dipping sauce before I bring out the main dish. We were able to wait until the end of time for 1.18. I think we'll survive a little longer for a COMPLETE job system update.

I support the mage strike...but in my own way of a MP-hose pipe ban, thats right one heal per person per fight regardless of wether I have 1307MP or more

Most of the changes made are simple case of the carriage before the horse. They broken the game in order to fix it, Im ok with it so long as they actually fix it

-Are you thrilled with the idea of casting Sacrifice 3 five separate times to get the effect you used to get from 1 cast?
-Are you pissed that healing magic now costs 130 MP while your broken nukes still cost 20-30 MP?
-Does it make sense that DoW have auto attack at their range but you don't have it at your range?
-Does it make sense that DoW can use their abilities on recast timers but healing magic can only be used a very small amount of times per fight?

-Is it fair to have to sit on the sidelines, whereas before you could be using abilities, debuffing, buffing, or causing damage over time?
-Is it fair that you can't generate mana but your allies can generate TP?

Then MAGE STRIKE is here. Send a message to the dev team that you expect a quality of play on parity with other classes, that you don't want to be locked into White Mage, either by the job system or by high MP costs that make your healing spells take top priority in MP management. Send a message that you want an ACTIVE playstyle, limited only by yourself, not frivolous restrictions. Demand CUSTOMER SERVICE, not "we will look into it".

And if you want to condemn the voices of others, ask yourself if you would like to sit outside combat in passive mode regenerating TP before you could take action in the fight.. let he who would regenerate TP outside of combat cast the first stone.

Problem is the roles were never reversed and from the get go Conjurer was supposed to the the White Mage of the group and the THM was the Red Mage more or less. Sure actually CON was more WHM/BLM and THM was RDM/DOTs DD.

Women didn't get to choose if they like to be men and black people didnt get to choose if they are gonna be black so there is not an issue of racism here.
I chose to be a melee DD and now I am a pugilist, you guys chose to be healers and you have to learn to be healers, that's all I know, everything else is just complaints because you want to be both DDs AND healers, AND Tanks AND whatever else god knows you wanna be.

Sorry that can't happen, either play as another class, or wait for an attacking mage class to pop, or quit the game.

Shai, I've noticed you're comparing class discrimination with sexism and racism.
You can very easily change your class, Sex and Race are not so easy to change. Please keep those kinds of comparisons out of this.
A better and more accurate comparison would be low wage jobs like Sales Associate or Cashier.
