    Enkidoh said it in the previous page. Players had their chance to keep the servers up, they didn't grab it. Don't blame a company for wanting to get rid of a product that was leaking money.

    Good times were had with people forgetting their oils and trying to sneak through tunnels just to end up training the whole place. Also, Blood Aggro made KRT monk party much more interesting and kept you on your toes.

    I had a lot of hilarious times in FFXI just managing that system. I liked the feeling of "preparing" to go out on an adventure. You thought of what you did before you did it, like playing Witcher on crazy hard mode - you don't go without crafting for the occasion lol, you prepared for every adventure (there are many games like that, just played modded hardcore difficulty witcher recently hyping up for 3.. its on my mind ^^).

    Also since we are talking about it, I feel like there are a few monsters that still have types in ARR... I swear Ochus see from all directions (smell?). Specially the ones by Hawthorne hut or w.e in East Shroud, they turn around full 180 to spray all over me lol.

    Nah, wasn't sarcasm. It was really hilarious to see people trying to be ninjas without oils just to die midway of the tunnels or people not refreshing powders when going to Aspid. KRT group was doing Merit Points on hard mode as well. One misstep with low HP and you had more than you can handle.
