It's obvious you never touched it or you wouldn't keep repeating this. Those of us who actually did and enjoyed it and followed ARR's development remember pretty plain as day we were told things would be "fixed" rather than gutted and converted to the "WoW standard" which took out quite a lot of depth and character XIV had going for it. 1.0 was broken because it was unfinished, as in it was never completed for launch. 1.23 however? The version where subs doubled-tripled as per YoshiP's words? That version wasn't broken beyond the core server structure, which as SE themselves said (since you love reiterating that SE did soandso) was the main issue and the main reason for the reconstruction, so they can actually fix the core issues with XIV.

Hence why 'WoW standard' MMOs seem to never end even though they rarely succeed because they usually half-design the same systems and as the saying goes, "WoW does WoW best."
