    Low Levels and Duty Finder

I started a new character a few weeks ago and Ive been struggling to get her dungeon completions for the main scenario done as well as farming certain sets of gear/weapons. DF at low level takes anywhere from the standard 20mins as a DPS to in excess of 60 mins. Between hunts and light farming, no one seems to queue for these much so the time it takes to get into a dungeon for me is usually 30-40mins during peak hours and 40-60mins or more if its not peak time.

I realize there have been many rewards added to duty finder already but I feel Duty Roulette: Low Level specifically needs to have even more incentive for high level players to want to come back and do it. Maybe raise the amount of soldiery or add the new tomestone as a reward, or maybe add a new kind of currency for this specific roulette that players can use to purchase the new dyes/minions/vanity stuff. People love vanity stuff so this would be a great incentive without imbalancing the game (provided these items are untradeable/unsellable). Or there is also the option of adding a reward of lights to all the bosses in low level dungeons and not just at the end of the dungeon, otherwise players wont want to waste their time for only 4-5 lights at the end, but if you give 4-5 lights per boss in a dungeon they might consider it. At any rate, something should be done to help the new players who join to catch up, otherwise soon they'll be stuck for days/weeks trying to complete dungeons in order to progress the story.

PS. Its really early in the morning and Im half awake so Im sorry if its written poorly or has spelling errors :P

Anything that incentivises high levels to do Duty Roulette sounds good to me. Those kind, kind people who always 'pass' on the items I Need

If I could get exp for my DPS classes when tanking/healing low level roulette then I would gladly do it. I know that some players will say that DPS won't learn their roles this way and so on but our alternatiive to leveling is FATEs which don't teach us much either. Our job skills requre to do us quests anyway which imo do a pretty decent job at testing our skills. SE could even come up with additional quests to test us further..

I truly feel bad for folks like you that get ruined by the unthoughtfulness of the rude newbies that made it hell for the people who want to just get through the dungeons for the rewards since there's nothing left for us end game. Not to highjack this thread, but this is exactly what happens when the "stop speed-running" and "you're ruining the experience for the new folks" get thrown at the end gamers that just "want to get it done." Now that we've no real reason to re-run these crappy old dungeons, the newer folks are paying the price of either super long que times, or non-existant groups being made.

My advice for you, if you can, get some people in your server to help you out and forget about duty finder. The end gamers have no real reason to run anything below expert roulettes, and the off chance we get those people who wants to "kill everything and take 45 minutes to do a 10 minute dungeon" doesn't seem like a good gamble for the crappy rewards we can get elsewhere with half the effort. This is the ugly truth, no matter if people like it or not.

They should just add that on completion of low level roulette (once per day) you get New Born Star for Nexus

We get brilliant on our novus. This is enough for me to add a low level roulette to my dailies.

Yeah, I actually enjoy doing the low-level roulette sometimes, but as I've entered endgame and loaded up on Myth gear, I have found I don't actually have any reason to queue for it anymore. I don't expect an amazing reward for it, but a little something once per day, that is still relevant for me, would be nice.

It would also be nice if, in general, awarding commendations could either have more rewards tied to it or also came with a small boost to tomestones. Or you could get more tomestones for a full clear, so that people are less obsessed with making every DF queue a speed run.

Awww, the poor, poor endgame pro had his speed run ruined by those awful, horrible, thoughtless newbies!

Seriously though, the idea that newbies are "making it hell" for veterans in any way is laughable.

It is real. He is a real jerk and just can not admit it, not even to himself.
My statement to him: "Hey jerk, you want Myth; go Hunt and leave the low level roulette to other end gamers with better personalities."
I personally enjoy helping the young lings out, and when I find they are on my server too, I craft them some gear for free to boot.
