    Yeah but I'd expect 1 or maybe 2. Yoshi said that he was waiting for the xpac because when SMNs get a new ability others should too. I really highly doubt everyone is going to get 3+ new abilities.
    But, who knows. I just think expecting 3 is setting yourself up for disappointment.

    Well if they increase it to 60 there's a good chance that we'll get 3 abilities. Potentially 2 job abilities (55 & 60) and potentially 1-2 class abilities (54 & 58) if they stick to the current level gaps in skills.

    They could give one of the new summon abilities to ACN so SCH gets another pet. While Lily is just supposed to have the two forms of dusk and dawn it doesn't mean future SCH quests can't find new power to call out Lily as herself in a new form. The other 2 could then go to SMN to give SMN 6 egi's and SCH 3 fairies.

    Maybe even so they can release one expansion as 3.0, and then within 6 months release another expansion pack as 4.0. So we could raise 20 levels in one year as two expansion packs.

    I think it'll be raised by 10. Enough to give each job another slot for cross class. But as the level cap raises, there needs to be more classes to be able to pick skills from.

    An increase of ilevel we have already with every 2nd main patch. We don't need an epansion pack for this.

    there was a lot of skills in 1.x, that were removed, which they could re-use. also XI has lots of skills. the melee jobs there, had some 13-15 skills, most of which we dont have in XIV. and the casters have like 75+ skills, most of which would be irrelevant in XIV, but ya.
    Also, solo content is never exceptionally challenging, in this game That's a design choice. They even nerfed lots of content, cause it was oh so hard, and oh so bothersome to use an antidote, to kill a certain gargoyle.
    I hope they eventually do add 10-15 more job skills, to expand a bit on their use.

    why not? Yoshi already said we're getting levi/ramuh, when lv cap goes up.
    they are changing the egis though, so it depends on what they are doing with them. But it would be boring if they couldn't eventually summon all the primals; well aside from the elder primals.

    well since they are going with the equality thing, if SMN gets levi/ramuh, then every other job should get 2 skills as well since we get job skills every 5lv, new lv cap will at least be 60, and that will probably include some class skills as well, and traits.

    I highly doubt that they will release a new xpack, within 6 months. That's not enough time to develop anything major. I'd expect xpacks to come 1-2 years apart.

    i think all the content before T9, prepares you for T9.
    there's low lv dungeons that introduce you to party play
    there's mid lv dungeons, that introduce some mechanics.
    high lv dungeons that may have some enrage timer, stacking debuff/buffs, that pushes you a bit.
    easymode primals that introduce you to a bit more mechanic driven fights.
    blabla
    1st coil.
    etc.

    If you're new to games, and XIV is your first game, then sure, some end game stuff is probably going to be a bit overwhelming, but as long as you just memorize boss rotations, and your own skill rotations, you'll get there.
    watching new players, it's usually trying to cope with *all the buttons* that is the biggest challenge....and split second decisions
    But T9 is probably not the main goal, of someone who's new to gaming.
    but yah, i'm probably speaking to much as an experienced gamer.

    I'd want it to be level cap 60, but I'm guessing it'll be 55 so SE has to do less work in creating (porting old 1.0) abilities.
