Novice Gardener here: Im interested in these Deluxe garden loops (FC/Personal mansions) but i havnt seen any loop combos posted anywhere.

For example if you have 3 Deluxe plots, what are the best loop combos for 3 crops.

eg. Glazenut Factory: Hopes of having a self sustained Glazenut/Apricot/Kukuru Garden?

This is most likely wrong but just to give an example of what i'm looking for out there:

    Glazenut Factory

    G S G ---- A K A ---- A H A
    S X S ---- K X K ---- H X H
    G S G ---- A K A ---- A H A

G=Glaze, S= Sylkis, K= Royal Kukuru, A= Apricot, H= Honey Lemon in the above example.

    Crop#1 would produce Glazenuts/T.Onion seeds/Apricots seeds
    Crop#2 would produce Glazenut seeds
Crop#3 would produce Royal Kukuru seeds

Would this be an ideal 3 crop combo? For starters i dont see how i will self sustain Sylkis buds in this above combo.

Hope this makes sence to someone out there. Up until now i have been just randomly trying different combos without putting much thought into it as im usually after 1 or 2 things (Glazenuts, Jute for example). I'm very interested in other 3Combo "Self Sustaining" Gardens. Are there any other combos out there? If anyone has any links or screens of usefull information pertaining to this kinda thing it'd be greatly appreciated. Gardenplanner has been a great reasource but it doesnt really give you much options in terms of 3 Garden Loops etc.
    • Jute Factory
    • T.Onion Factory
    • Broombrush Factory

TLDR: I'm looking for different combinations at maximising my 3 garden plots in the most efficient way to self sustain (loop) different target crops.

You don't need Royal Kukuru at all once you have Glazenuts. Glazenut + Apricot makes Glazenut seeds.

Isn't that just 1-way though? You wouldn't get a net gain of Glazenut seeds, just a break-even. Problematic if you wanted to use the Glazenut seeds for something else (T.Onion cross).

I had a silly plan with staggered beds, something like

    H A H
    A X A
    H A H

Honey Lemon / Apricot. Harvest Honey Lemons, plant Glazenuts before harvesting Apricots. Harvest Apricots, plant something that crosses with Glazenuts. I've done this with plants that were ready to harvest a day before their partners, but just to verify: do plants ready to harvest still count as crossbreed neighbors?

    Yes they do.

Glazenuts + Apricot you will get Glazenut seeds from both plants when they successfully breed. Royal Kukuru is effectively worthless once you get a Glazenut seed.

I've not come across any 1-way crossbreeds going after plants that I need and I think it's just the result of misplanting or bad luck that these results are popping up. I'd test it to prove my point but right now both my plots are constantly in use.

It's 2-way, you gain 4 glazenut seeds per growing circle of the apricots and the glazenuts are self sustaining, all you need to keep it going endless is apricot kernels and G3 thanalan soil.

We have 3 garden patches looking like this:

    G A G
    A X A
    G A G

With 2 glazenuts intervalling every 3 days so we never get an empty patch. We are only fertilizing the apricots as these are the givers. The glazenuts are only there for crossing

    T A T
    A X A
    T A T

Thats our Onion growing patch with apricots next to it, because you can get sylkis/honey lemon seeds from the apricots and Honey lemon seeds from the onions. Thats the most useful cross for onions... really. We are using G3 Shroud soil on these b/c it doesn really matter. All we want are the onions.

    S G S
    G X G
    S G S

Our onion factory, we already produced a surplus of 11 seeds since release. As we are only 4 people thats all we needed so far. We only fertilize the sylkis b/c we got like 70+ seeds of that and the glazenuts come from patch 1

3 of us have a private house. We produce Apricot Kernels in one patch b/c we need 8 per circle and Sylkis in the other 2. Now that we got so many Sylkis we will probably start another glazenut loop somewhere

As you see we have 6 patches going for effective onion growing. But on the upside we get 8 glazenuts a week that we can sell for 175+k and buy all the soils we need and more.

Honey Lemon / Apricot. Harvest Honey Lemons, plant Glazenuts before harvesting Apricots. Harvest Apricots, plant something that crosses with Glazenuts. Well idk if its just bad luck or w/e - but i tried that few times after release when we only had one patch with G3 thanalan soil and never got a seed, from 16 plants or so total... maybe they changed it idk. Im not risking it anyways and circling the plants in a way so we always have at least 2 days difference of finishing.

We are using G3 Shroud soil. Mainly because they are cheap but the main reason is that onions do not really cross into anything useful. Only thing we can get out is more Sylkis Seeds for the prestep, but when you get 4 times 9 seeds out of one patch you wont need those for weeks to come :/

hmm, Thav Onion its going to yield 1 onion/seed. Then its better that i use Grade 3 Lacosnean soil ? or even grade 1 La cos soil ( The cheapest) ? Since type of soil doesn't matter anymore.

    Just wondering....

Depends on server. On mine, G3 Shroud is not that much more expensive than any other "garbage" soil and I have a ton of it just from hitting Umbral Rock node anyways.

True that, La Noscean would be cheaper to use, but only 1k difference on my server. For 4k gil every 7,5 days I'd rather take the chance on getting 9 Sylkis seeds back + 1 guaranteed onion then waste that chance completely ^^
