You can always add time using game cards no matter if you have 30 days or 30 mins or 3 years worth of time left. As for the credit based subs, Im not sure you can add on to the sub unless you are moving up to a longer time-frame of a subscription (for example, going from 30 day sub to a 90day sub) then Im pretty sure it will just bill you for the extra months. But once you've paid for the time you can not have it re-imbursed. If you decide to go back to 30 day month-to-month you wont be charged until your current sub runs out.
