Payment question

(Have no idea if this is the right forum buuuuuut....)

Ok so I renewed my sub by credit, but I didn't want auto renew so I had to take it off...problem is I'm trying to make two separate payments so I can put 60 days down. Is there a way to do this, or will I just have to cross that bridge when the time is almost up? Thanks

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but outside of game cards I don't believe you can renew or add time until your current subscription has less than 30 days left.

You can always add time using game cards no matter if you have 30 days or 30 mins or 3 years worth of time left. As for the credit based subs, Im not sure you can add on to the sub unless you are moving up to a longer time-frame of a subscription (for example, going from 30 day sub to a 90day sub) then Im pretty sure it will just bill you for the extra months. But once you've paid for the time you can not have it re-imbursed. If you decide to go back to 30 day month-to-month you wont be charged until your current sub runs out.

Ok so its a cross the bridge scenario, thanks. And I would get the time cards if I could...but living in a rural town that doesn't stock anything and removes items more than adds...I can't get them physically or digitally. So credit it is, thanks though for the info.

This is false in the case of XIV, even for time cards you can only add them if you have less then 120 days.

Wha...what? Why on earth would anyone want to mess with SE's customer service for something that the community can answer easily? Anybody with sense would be perfectly okay asking "do they accept card" or another simple question about a store to somebody who frequently shops there, like we do with FFXIV. Don't be daft.

It has already been said OP, but you won't have the option to "extend" your subscription time with your credit card through mogstation. If you have 30 days left, and try to bump it up to 60 days, it will just say that you'll be billed for it when it's time to renew your subscription.

What's really daft is to rely on hearsay. I've called SE's customer & did a live chat. The experience couldn't have been better each time. Of course, I wasn't making ridiculous claims like the complaints I've seen on the forums.
