
72 player = 3 alliances
48 player = 2 alliances
24 player = 1 alliance
you weren't missing them as a flaw. it was designed like this and it works.



It is a flaw. In an attempt to keep the queue times down SE made it so all three sides don't necessarily need to have a full roster before the match can start. The game will start as a 48/72 person match, but when you actually get into the instance you don't always have two/three full alliances like you should. I've had my fair share of 72-player matches where the Flames had less than two full alliances for more than 10 minutes into the match and that was pretty common. The system back-fills as the match goes on, but you're typically down players long enough that you have little to no chance of recovery even if you eventually fill up.
I haven't done Frontlines in a good while now, but if people are actually queuing even less than before the problem is only going to get worse.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
