Plus bind doesn't stop you from rotating to face him, or auto-facing him if you didn't change that default setting.

Uh... yes. It does. That is in fact the whole point of Bind.

A WAR's self-inflicted Holmgang is the only case where you can rotate while bound.

Yeah I don't actually think the alexandrite maps are balanced and it feels like a stroke of luck that all classes are able to solo them for the most part. You know, I also warned my bard friend about this one alexandrite because it seemed like it was the only one bard couldn't do. To my surprise, my bard friend has zero problems with it! He said he burned it down fast enough before it killed him while his chocobo healed him. I believe it might be possible to melt mobol menace as a bard before his bad breath does too much damage to you.


It was actually the cyclops with the dozen other little dragons that gave him the most trouble for him as a bard. That one I have no idea how I would handle as a bard.

Yeah, the Cyclops with the peapuks is the only Alex map I have trouble with as a summoner with Titan-Egi out and a DPS chocobo. I have to keep Titan on the peapuks because they are worse than the Cyclops.
