The best part is people are all like "omg really? SE needs to fix this soon!"

The trick to the Cyclops is to stop damaging him ASAP when the adds spawn so you can kill one wave at a time, and stay near him unless there is an AOE up so you can avoid Eye of the Beholder. All add spawns for these maps are based on boss HP. Take it easy on the boss, you don't get overwhelmed.Wish I'd seen this thread before losing my map due to me taking too long to deal with the swarms of adds that the cyclops calls. Cyclops trap is the only trap that caught me completely by surprise and was quite unprepared for it. I'll have to try that approach next time and save my raging strikes for when the adds pop up instead of going all out on the cyclops from the start.
I'll have to start thinking about bringing help along too
It's an old thread but knowledge is power and all that.
fixed
I run these on SMN. Titan and Chocobo out. My trio team of win. Titan loves eating bad breath in my place among other things.
You can always switch classes before opening the box so you get light for any relic.

Well... there are ppl that's always bored. lol
I have done this on my Bard a couple of times with the a healer chocobo and have never really had a problem with a death. but i do understand the fact that every other class has a some what way of avoiding or dealing with the breath effect that the bard doesnt. people say to do it on another class......BUT U SHOULD'T HAVE TO.
