    the current raid make up is just fine imo, far better then CT

    Wait times are present for every role and unless they can eliminate wait times for everyone, then its fair as is.

    What needs to happen is a penalty for multi-withdrawing, that can easily and frequently does double wait times.
    Equally i see dps pull out before timer..and healers and yes tanks just as often. Place a limit of 1 withdraw/hr...any more then that and you receive a 1 hr debuff so you cant sign up again until 1 hr has passed. It would affect legit reasons to withdraw but finally deal with those that more often then not,...abuse to find an in progress run.

    Weeding out the df withdraw abusers should have been implemented long ago, its a core underlying problem that affects all roles queue times. At the very least they should try to fix and revert back if no improvement noted.

    Its not a total cure for the issues but there needs to be an attempt made by SE imo.

    I have never had a queue longer than 20 min for ST, and I play during times that are the complete contrary of peak times.

    Either your server cluster is awful, or you are not checking enough languages in DF. Don't be scared of checking all four, the few people who absolutely can't speak English (or French, German or Japanese for the Auto-translator) tend to not speak or read the chat at all, anyway.

    (Now, the time spent staring at "A Party Member Has Withdrawn", that's a different story. But I can't fault DPS who have been waiting for an hour+ to be in the bathroom or kitchen etc. when the queue pops.)

    Definitely think the OP is trolling, but as a tank I know that I am entitled to many privileges not afforded to lowly DPS peons. One such entitlement is the privilege of trolling this thread.

    The other day, I queued up for Expert Roulette and had to wait five minutes to get in. FIVE MINUTES! Can you believe the atrocity? I was just about ready to call the help desk and complain! SE clearly needs to do more to improve queue times for tanks, both in ST and elsewhere. As a dearth of healers is often an obstacle to a tank's instant queue, SE needs to devote the resources to a team of a thousand or so paid players to make sure that healers are always available for a queue. A few paid DPS wouldn't be out of line either, for those rare cases when DPS aren't queueing up. Whenever a tank queues and there aren't sufficient healers and DPS queued to accomodate them, these paid players will step in and fill the queue. Problem solved!

    I suppose one could imagine paid tank players also to assist healers and DPS who are waiting in queues, but honestly, who cares about them? The money needs to be spent where it matters: catering to the whims of the tanking elite.

    Additionally, to pay for these thousand or so paid players, an increase should be added to the subscription fee of any player who does not have a level 50 tank that they play on a regular basis. No reason for a tank to pay extra money for what they deserve to have anyway!

    I main tank and honestly i dont find the queue times so bad, for me the longest i seen it was like 15 min or so for ST, but i do see alot of people going AFK while in q and it resets it, that kinda irks me. I use to go Bard for ST for quicker q times, but then I got my Novus and have to play PLD in order to farm light.

    I can't really complain, ST is the only instances that isn't instant queue for us, i just go watch netflix or go gather while waiting for queue.

    The most likely reason why people withdraw is that they've unknowingly selected more then one instance to enter when queuing and the wrong one pops up. And preventing players from using the duty finder is going to make wait times worse, not better.
