Honestly I don't see that happening. Other then the huge hurdle of atma rng praying, the rest of the relic weapon quest-line is pretty breezy and straightforward. If people clear the horrible segment of atma they are more likely to continue on the upgrade path to nexus.Eventually that's what the purpose of relic will be, I will assume now. Much like FFXI's relics, they will be harder and harder to come by, and you'll start to see more and more people with unfinished weapons due to giving up. Despite this, it will still be casual content that people can do at their pace. You don't need to join a well trained static, there's no real obligation needed except copious amounts of time (and/or money, considering Animus -> Novus stage).
So there needs to be another wall that culls the pack? I like where this is going.
To have that it's rare to have. Much like FFXI (even though I think that game was stupid).
And why did you pose that question off of what I said?So in conjunction with,If people clear the horrible segment of atma they are more likely to continue on the upgrade path to nexus.
results in finding a way to discourage those who don't have a heart of iron to give up and pursue other options.Much like FFXI's relics, they will be harder and harder to come by, and you'll start to see more and more people with unfinished weapons due to giving up.
I think it's hilarious how much of an ego boost some people manage to take away from being luckier than someone else.
You pulled together what two different people on different ends of the issue said, so you'll have to see why I would be confused at your reasoning here.
The only thing needing a "heart of iron" is the perseverance to sit on your knees praying to the RNG god for atmas >.> The rest of the quest doesn't "cull" at all.
I'm saying for after Nexus. Some ridiculous wall that reduces the amount of relic users. Atma 2, if you would.
On a side note; I was looking through JP forums. Nothing on the first 10 pages pertain to Atma. I guess they don't care anymore.
you realize how much this on can look selfish and arrogant right? i means, the relic is not a bragging rights! it's the progression of your jobs. i means people must really stop to act like only a few must have something, you have the elemental horse and a few minion for this! relic must'nt be a bragging rights!
People saying that they farmed for days and weeks without getting anything, I gotta call BS. Doing FATEs for an hour does not count as farming for a day. If you 'really' sit down and get busy for a good 5-6 hours of FATE grinding, you'll usually walk away with at least 1. I have one near-Nexus, and one Animus weapon. Neither of them took me more than 5 solid days of FATE grinding to finish. Sure, RNG is RNG, but even if you were to have the worst luck imaginable, you'd still be getting Atma if you were actually 'farming' for them, and not giving up after 10 FATEs.
No, with the "worst luck imaginable" you would not. You say "Sure, RNG is RNG", but the statement you just made proves that you do not really understand RNG.People saying that they farmed for days and weeks without getting anything, I gotta call BS.
