I don't anticipate SE putting any further changes into making cutscene-watching desirable. I believe that they realized they made a mistake, and will make an effort not to repeat it in the future (no more stupidly long cutscenes in the middle of a dungeon), but I doubt any work is going to be put into correcting this past mistake.

At the same time, I disagree with the assumption that no one would run these dungeons with the cs option. Look to any of the "Why can't I watch cutscenes?" threads that pop up from time to time, and you can see that, if anything, the folks insisting that these dungeons should be speed run are in a MINORITY. The newbies have plenty of supporters.

If folks are running Prae and CM with the goal of getting fast Tomestones, they're doing it wrong. Brayflox HM is STILL far better Myth per hour. This generally means that less folks sign up for Prae and CM than there used to be, but it also means that the ones who do are already prepared for less-than-optimal myth per hour (or are stupid). So why are these dungeons still speed-run when no one is actually in a hurry? Because it is the accepted expectation; tanks are used to being harrassed if they take it slow, and so keep the pace high.

It doesn't help that there's often an individual who'll loudly complain about how selfish people are being if they don't run the dungeon quickly. This person may not even be in a hurry themselves, but are convinced that they need to hold up the principal or whatever, and believe they're speaking for a silent majority.
