Keep in mind, the main reason that LotA was nerfed from its original design was that getting 24 players to perform well enough together is kind of like herding cats. If they're Mi'qote, then the metaphor is quite literal.
I do think it'd be nifty to have as a challenge option however, but I suspect that people'd clear it in a week or two and then just ignore it from then on.
that's why there are lockouts in coil. otherwise: "you get the item you want & you're done, short-winded with virtually no replay value"![]()
Wonderful idea that should get more attention, no matter the rewards, the true reward would be to finally give a meaning to a Free Company.
It could even become the real and first end game scene for FCs*, please SE, do it.
*(In before coils's comments, coil is just a 8 man static for 40 mins the day of the reset, there is no need to have a fc for it aslong you know 7 skilled players willing to follow you).
As if I haven't had enough braincells suicide one by one due to doing regular CT and ST...
Thanks for your useful comment, it was needed and absolutly not obvious.
The main advantage of a savage version of those boring and newbies-magnet raids would be to actually do them with people you know, aka your FC or skilled friends.

Jokes on you, savage mode already exists: carrying bad players.
Except not everyone can get 24 groups of friends together, or FC members. Sometimes it's hard enough getting 8 -competent- people for something such as coil (again, if you can't get a full group of people you know, this is the important bit for it all), let alone 24 of 'em.Thanks for your useful comment, it was needed and absolutly not obvious.

Would I be completely against a savage CT/ST? No. Not at all, it sounds interesting but if it would be the same as 2nd Coil Savage is right now with the same drops, just some achievements up for grabs, I'm not sure if that would really be the best idea with it requiring more people and, I would assume, a lot more cooperation between everyone albeit possibly less than Savage Coil (CT/ST are easier by default, minus braincell-killing pugs). What should it have instead? Beats me, I'll let someone else do the deep thinking and constructive reply on that (Sorry, I had to). On the other hand with the possibility of savage CT/ST being easier overall that could counterbalance needing 24 competent people as opposed to 8, but eh. Should it ever happen we'll see how SE handles it.
As for posting constructive replies and whatnot. Thank god it isn't. I'd hate to be forced into being all super serious here all day everyday. But replies like this sadly end up forcing me to do so anyway.

I agree but it's the current system that created the problem not the players, there is absolutly no need of strong communities of players in this game not yet, no wonder why it's hard to find people, everyone re splitted into thousands of small clusters.
If such raid contents existed ingame, you would see people gathering a lot and creating new communities just like they did for hunt in less than some days...
No one ever forced you to post anything, if you can't accept the criticism after you posted a toxic-sarcastic joke to the thread, it's sadly your problem![]()
