Should she tell you when to wipe?
Also I have no idea why you asked this in the title.. Seems like you're just itching to get your confirmation bias confirmed. So in short only those who agree with you/your feelings are acceptable opinions.

If that was the case, I would have lost my time and effort since 2.0 a year ago, getting all jobs to 50.
Gaming is a time sink. It's an investment. You can choose the game you want, but if you go into MMOs expecting it to be lilke Angry Birds, I suggest you stick playing with your i[something]
When a game will become stale for you, be it in 2-3 years, you might still think the same, losing "your time".
Going to work, Studying, having dinner with friends, all time wasted.
I hope you can see the other side of life, as of now seems you are missing the best part of it.
Good luck.
That's true but it seems to hurt people more when someone mentions they are leaving. It happens more frequently when people are not progressing or the game alienates players that start to look elsewhere for the same experiences they once enjoyed playing this game.
Also I don't think the OP understands that ALL games are meant to be a waste of time, that is the entire point of entertainment.
Are you seriously not reading anything else?
All MMO's and video games in general have no need to play. You don't ever need to play a game. If you feel like you do, you have an addiction. If you like the game, keep playing and support it. If not, then don't play, and worry not about whether or not it survives. You're in a big, active FC on one of the biggest servers and if you don't think that's enough, then no, you won't enjoy yourself.
So just ask yourself, am I having fun or not?
Or are you incapable of making a decision for yourself?

Oh boy...
We are all slowly dying....
Hoarders gonna Horde.
The game isn't dying players are just taking a break because it's the last month before the next major patch which has been happening since launch.
There is already horizontal progression in this game because there are multiple ways to get the same ilvl gear and weapon. The easiest way to create a steady player base is to add character customization since players in mmorpg connect more with their character rather then gear.

Yes. Everyone is dying too. Soon the game will have no one left to play it.
