You easily get 300+day just from roulette alone (excluding any first time bonuses and main story scenario too), +80 for every A rank along with some seals, and now you can get around 16 seals/day just from the daily bill.

    Top the allied seal thing allowing you to exchange ilvl 90 gear for as little as 20 seals. Ilvl 90 is practically handed to everyone now, and a dungeon rewarding ilvl 90 would just run into the same problem as our current expert lineup; serving no purpose other than to roulette.

    That's the hole you dig for yourself with all the lock-outs and strict vertical progression though, especially when you undermine your own system with things like hunts which themselves basically invalidated ST from day 1. When everything comes easy the content that gets ignored are the things like dungeons - too long for too little reward. But at the same time if you make dungeon gear better you run into all the problems I described before happen.

    In 2.0 you had this progression -

    Full AF at 50
    Dungeons to i55/i60 (Wanderer's Palace, AK)
    Philosophy Tomes to upgrade as you go (Darklight)
    Mythology as stretch goal (AF+1)
    Relic + Primal weapons to replace Wanderer's Palace or Company Lieutenant Weapons (Or worse)
    Coil gear + T5 Weapon as long term goals
    CT released to bridge the gap for people (Even though by the time it was released most people were already full i90 on Myth tome items alone)

    Except now what actually ends up happening is

    AF at 50
    Hunt for full i90 and replace with un-weathered soldiery pieces as you go for eventual i110
    Get Relic for basically no effort, primal weapons are ignored (Ramuh and Levi are exceptions)
    Eventually get your tome weapon from ST
    T5 Clear + Second Coil stretch goal

    With the exception of the cut out of the HM/EX Primals from this example the other piece that gets lost is Dungeons. They're just trash content at this point which is unfortunate, but basically true.
