Tell me Musahidon, when did that communication come out? Oh, that's right, the patch notes. Communication of the design shift should have come well before the patch. Communication is not apologizing after. Communication is setting expectations before.
What? Between 2.1 when he originally made the offending statement, and 2.38, the only communication over Personal Housing we've really had is some banter over 850k and "Gardening might not be ready".
Is that what constitutes successful communication these days?
Yeah no they totally failed with this much backlash? They failed; but why am I bothering you're the type who always has to be right.
This is some crazy blind defending...
I'm with you on this. My only annoyance was the frustration of finding out about it when the patch notes came out. My server isn't high pop, so for me, getting a house wasn't an issue. It's probably why I don't have the same (completely understandable) rage that folks from Balmung have.
how much backlash? this 23 page thread? and the other 10 page thread? atma had a 100 plus page thead sure yea this is so much backlash.
Crazy. Blind. Defending.
Way more than that and still going.. It's nice to know Yoshi can say practically anything and get defended for it regardless of the facts.
Are you really comparing an uproar that is a week or so old to one which has been around for... Around five months?
Not to mention the simple fact that, by it's very nature, Atma farming is something every player pretty much has to at least contemplate, while not everyone cares about housing. So no sh*t an Atma thread is going to end up with more traffic than a housing one.

I think you're being intentionally obtuse. The JP forums figuratively exploded with angry threads about this. Many of which, along with a large number of posts and threads here, have been pruned when they became too hostile and the moderators stepped in. So yes, there was backlash. I suspect that, but admittedly have not checked, messages sent to the FF twitter were probably pretty unpleasant.
this is my point with atma both jp and NA (which na has a history of rarely having any threads reaching 100 pages besides the daily ones people hop on for fun) had very big threads complaining about something they didn't like. it's not often you get na and jp to agree so well but look here the threads about housing don't last very long.I think you're being intentionally obtuse.
