Scare, could you actually take a quick glance at my two posted macros to check them for correctness? I don't have the gil to actually give them a run through hehe, but on paper it looks right.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

    Hiya,

I'm not familiar with Elasia's macro's to easily be able to see any errors sorry.

I suspect with your additions the items should be crafted successfully, but do think that the HQ rate would be very low, especially for the i95 elemental aspect weapons.

In my opinion if you want any reasonable chance to HQ the elemental i95's, you really need to do the manually.

I would say I average around 70% HQ rate (I would have said this is a decent rate) on the harder elemental aspect i95's doing the craft fully manually, I suspect with macro's it would be significantly lower.

Thanks for the input, the disclaimer to the HQ rate for the Primal Weapons has been addressed in my post. But Elasia's macro has been pretty good to me so far for regular 3-star items. It makes my item HQ more often than not and much of the time with very high HQ percentages. I also don't trust myself enough to manual craft anything just yet haha.

You have mentioned the HQ rate, but I don't think you realise just how bad it would be done with macro's xD

For the Augmented Chest Pieces, assuming the craft finishes, I suspect the HQ rate would be reasonable. As they are far far easier to HQ than many of the i95 weapons.

True. Could you give me a couple examples of how manual crafting could be better? I would like to begin manual crafting myself, but I just don't think I know how and when during the synthesis I could benefit from it. For example, I would be torn between using a "Good" for a HQ increase or CP increase. I would appreciate any and all help, you don't have to write something long out, but it's about time I learn how to take advantage of manual crafting. Thanks

    I'll try and explain... xD

For the basic Hasty Method, you need to use Tricks of the Trade on *every* "good" condition for the first 75% of the whole craft at least. The idea is to keep topping you CP up as much as possible. It's almost always better to use Tricks than trying to get more quality early on.

It does not matter if you have Steady Hands up, the CP gain from Tricks out-weighs the CP loss from losing 1 Steady Hands Stack.

Depending on how many ToT proc's I get, depends on when I'll be using progress or quality gaining skills.

Always aim to use Master's Mend II as your main Dura restoring skill, ideally twice on a 3 star craft if you get enough ToT proc's to leave you enough CP for your finishing moves after.

Refresh Comfort Zone as soon as it expires *as long as you know you'll have more than 10 steps left and will use the CP given by the last stack*. For 3 star I always use CZ at least twice, but frequently 3 times. (can be more even)

ToT proc's help to regain CP from the skill itself, but also helps you to use up CZ stacks. (With the hasty method your basically trying to make the craft use as many steps as possible, while keeping the CP ready for your finisher)

If you need to use a dura gaining skill, but wont have the CP left for the finishing moves, Manipulation is a good skill to use.

When finishing, try to force a "Good" condition on the Byregot's by either using Innovation or a Progress skill in between the Great Strides.

Needs practice, so you can get used to knowing when to use Mend 2 or Manipulation, so I'd suggest trying on 3 star food

I just want to say Thank you. You have no idea how much I love this macros. I used to craft everything manually, and this is the difference between night and day. ♥

Can you use the above macro for the 3 star NQ turn in items for the new main hand (intricate silver brocade)? If so what stats do you need?

Thanks for this scare. I use a very different approach to ToT and CP (use them to upgrade 80% HT to 100% BT), so I found this really interesting. I'm going to adapt my rotation to something like yours and see which I prefer.

Due to the progress required in the synth that will not be enough to pull it off. This should work though:

    /ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Piece by Piece" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Piece by Piece" <me> <wait.3>
