Frontlines is blinding now.
I understand why they did this (making it the same amount of light for a win and a loss), but I think it was the wrong move. I actually find Frontlines fun, and decided to do a few runs over the weekend for Nexus points. My 24 man alliance had 1 healer in it.
When this would happen before, you would see random people change to healers if they had the job. When there was about 30 seconds left before the match started, someone in /a said "Is anyone going to switch to healer?"
First response: Idc if we win or lose I just want my Nexus points.
Next 4 responses: ^
.....needless to say we got slaughtered, and I didn't continue doing as many FLs as I initially wanted to do. Couple that with (still) a 20 min wait for the queue....just wasn't worth it to watch my whole team tank on purpose, for 6 stinkin points. It wasn't even a blinding bonus at the time.
All in all I think it was a bad decision to put light gain from something that is supposed to be competitive.
Just my 2 gil.
Stone Vigil HM is giving blinding right now as well. I don't know when it started though.

Just for those of you who are solely focusing on just this. I got this link from a friend and though I should share it. (FFXIV Nexus Light Farming: current bonus windows)

Good luck to all of you! ^^

I wish we had enough people willing to track the pop schedule across a full 192 hours.
Target Bright
Target's start time
Target's end time
Time lapsed between target's end and next start
I still have this hunch that if we had a large enough sample size (8 days), we could find patterns to help predict with a degree of accuracy what should pop next.
ps: This may be in the realm of crackpot theories but... What about weather forecasting in the zone tied to primal, hinting at what will be bright?
Example:
Day is split into twelve 2-hour windows
When a new window procs, server checks the current weather and sees E shroud as "Cloudy".
Server tells Moogle HM to reward bonus light for the next 2 hours.
Plausible? We could screenshot the forecaster, 10 second task every 2 hrs to confirm or deny.

I dunno, Mog HM was bright for 4 blocks in a row last night. I think it's just random.I wish we had enough people willing to track the pop schedule across a full 192 hours.
