Release date of 2.4?

Patch 2.38 just came out. I doubt 2.4 will be coming out anytime soon; specially with everyone ranting on housing. This probably pushed the release further back so they can make sure the servers are up and running. Maybe even add more tweaks.

Just be patient.

We also don't know which FanFest Yoshida means. I am assuming he will be saving the best information for the last event in Tokyo, so don't get your hopes up till then.

So that would mean on the 14th of october ? It feels a bit close, or maybe the halloween will be in a small patch or will be later, 3 weeks while they didn't release the promotional website seems a little fast to me.

there are over a dozen people i been grinding with off and on in behemoth who are already done their nexus. Was hoping for end of october for 2.4... most people who have been here since official release don't have much to do atm..

It works both ways there are lots of ppl {like my self} that are not board that and we just had a big update not that long ago waiting will not kill ppl and at least it means SE is prob fixing things. Rather have a good update then a bug one

I looked at all the patch dates and for the most part patches are about 36 days apart (rough average). However, 2.38 was about a week earlier than I predicted and in the housing post from Yoshida he said 2.4 would be "next month" which put it about a week earlier than my updated prediction of 10/21 (patches like this are usually on Tuesdays) putting it around 10/14.

There will probably be another live letter (probably the las vegas fanfest one) where they will show the second portion of the patch and announce the date.

For 2.3 they split the patch preview into 2 parts, the first section for the most part had the new dungeons and ramuh, then they did another one that had the rest of the stuff.

2nd part will probably show new third coil, maybe show off some of the new tome gear, new hildibrand quests, vanity gear, and a list of QoL changes.
