This is just as correct.

You may think it is just dandy getting screwed around time and again, but I am honestly sick of it. Those ridiculous announcements that got us upset in the past; what you called good times I was legitimately not happy, and them being in the past does not make them good times.
Yeah, back then I thought there would be a break. I thought maybe there will be something better.
Now I'm just waiting for fanfest, because its clear there will be nothing to look forward to. Nothing but the almighty treadmill.

Ok well the point is, if you want a house, work for it. You also fail to realize that there's 8 more (a total of 720 more houses!!!) wards coming in 2.4, in one more month. Which is a BOATLOAD of houses. You really think they're not going to make more wards later on as well?
Let's just boil it down to why people are really mad: They want a personal garden but don't want to invest 4-5 mil for a small house.
While we're at it, let me also complain about how I'm not allowed to have 3 star in all crafts simply handed over to me for a reasonable price. God forbid I have to work on something!!!

It doesn't matter. They designed housing in a way that runs counter to what the player base was promised and desired. Also, the details for the expansion provided by Yoshida indicate a failure to listen to major concerns presented over a year ago. He's cut player feedback out of the equation to speed up development, which is creating blow back every time a new patch comes out.
Being loud and angry is exactly what we should be right now as long as we're giving constructive feedback in our anger.
I am a little amused. I have voiced(complained) that there is poorly implemented content almost every patch. I would say it goes from one mistake to the next.
But right now we are dealing with the excuse of infrastructure. If they can not properly plan for the players why even do it. Hell they have this magic gil per player number. Should they not have had at least enough for 50% of the people who could afford. Next if this is a vanity item why do they get gardens because they are faster. If they were going to make gardening semi important economically and vanity everyone should have acess if they can meet the requirements.

Being "loud and angry" may be your speciality, but it doesn't change the fact that there are more important things going on here.
If there was nothing to "WORK ON" nobody would be playing this game!!! If you really think them just handing out personal houses to people for free was the idea, I think you're sorely mistaken. They were still going to cost SOMETHING, so instead of 5 mil for a personal house it cost 2 million. People would STILL be complaining about the 2 million gil price tag.
Anyways, I barely post in the forums because it's just an opinion war, and opinions are seldom in agreement.
It's about the execution, not the work involved in acquiring it.Being "loud and angry" may be your speciality, but it doesn't change the fact that there are more important things going on here.

Someone hasn't seen the graphics floating around that does the maths. You need to look at the maths.
And what's wrong with that? Gardening should have NEVER been a FC activity. NEVER. It was a mistake then, it's a mistake letting it go on for so long. Even those of us who enjoy gardening and faithfully followed everything Pikku ever did, HATE the way it is here. I finally threw my hands up in defeat and told my FC I'm not doing it anymore. Everyone has a request. Everyone has a complaint. Then SE made the color seeds untradeable to FORCE us to let people plant or something. Everyone wanted a color. Everyone wanted an onion. Everyone has SOMETHING to say about the garden, yet the garden has sat open to everyone for a full three weeks and no one has touched it. I don't even care. It was too much stress for me. I won't even consider doing it again. That's how soured I am on that particular piece of "content" and the way that SE put it together.
So in the end, it boils down to yes, I want a little private slice of the game to do the things that I remembered loving so much in XI. I get it. You don't understand it. You maybe never played XI. Maybe there is something in the water over on Excalibur that makes every patch that comes down read as solid gold. I don't know what it is - but I'm getting really sick and tired of folks telling those of us who are interested in content we should just shut our mouths and take it. This was badly implemented. So were hunts.
And likely, neither of them will be corrected, and I will just move on. I'm only one sub and it's so oft an empty threat that I'm loathe to utter it... but between the viciousness of this playerbase toward one another, the producer's flippant and dismissive attitude, and the resounding silence we're once again seeing from a Final Fantasy development team... I just don't know what else to do.
