Windows 8.1 comes with Xbox 360 Accessories already. Force Install isn't needed on Windows 8. If you read the op, I did exactly what you posted, but from the actual SCP Threads on PCSX2.

I'm using a DS4 on my PC. I used only the tools provided by Scarlet.Crush and it works. Perhaps you can try removing everything and doing a fresh install with only the items from Scarlet.Crush.

As for the buttons being jumbled, there's an option to remap the buttons once you get FFXIV to recognise the controller.

I don't know where WinUSB is installed when I "Replace Drivers" etc. So no, I'd have to re-install Windows completely. I now have four different controllers because my "Efforts" to get nothing working.
