Funny thing is, in a way, housing is already instanced. The moment you click that front door, you're entering an instance. If no one else was inside already, it had to start up just for you. (Which, they've said, is why it's difficult to place you back inside after leaving a duty.) It's really only the outside ward itself that's running all the time.

as you look so well versed in this, can you explain me why so many MMORPG 'even free to play) manage to have housing accessible to every players while a major company like SE, which have decade of experience in MMORPG managing (FFXI) can't.

Different servers, different resources, something you're not seeing. considering those MMOS are years old, they may have had more expeirence with equipment, and also considering that more plots will be open in 2.4 and this is temporary you also do not know what is coming fully. but no one wants to think about that, it's just a cry fest because they can't get what they want asap. Nothing new here.

Based on this reason, I am requesting to have instant access to T9 as I paid the sub. Not everyone has access (or has interest) on the T9. The same applies to housing. Not everyone should have access to housing.

insult people when you lack argument it's not a good way to do. that said, i will point a few stuff that make me think that the personal housing we have was decided at the last minute, probably because they have encounter trouble different than the one they say us.

There IS no argument, it's just simply people not understand that limits apply and this is only temporary for one patch, i can't put up an argument agaisnt nonsense and pointless rants. especially since one of the kids threw insults because he can't read.

first: you have already in game area that can be used for add a personal housing system in the city (exemple in old gridania at x:11, y:4). that they decide to go for another area for the FC housing can be understand, but still.
second: yoshida until recently (the ff14 anniversary live) was saying different stuff and this live is old of 2-3 week.
finally: the server limitation, it's seems weird to use this... when you have a mmorpg (that can be considered like a succes), you always try to get the best server possible. i highly doubt that SE is uncompetent to the point to have relaunch FF14 without study how get strong enough server.

i know i will probably be bashed, but i wonder if the trouble don't come from the console side, read here the psn and the ps3 limitation. i know i have no proof, but it's the only way to explain this....drastic change in them plan. maybe they was planning something different and did work really hard on it... but did encounter some really bad limitation that have make them unable to use what they had planned before. and because they had promise us this and did make us wait for long... they did decide to go with this solution.

Haha. Based on this reason, I am requesting, that only the first 4 parties every week can enter Coil. If you log in 5 minutes too late, you might not get into coil this week. But no worries, in a month 8 parties will be able to enter. There is a big difference between "not everyone has access" and "not everyone CAN have access".

ok, that i can accept, so my next question: why do you announce to players (customers) that they'll soon have a service if you don't have the material capacities to give it to them when they'll ask for it?

cause i checked they NEVER said the house will be limited and always spoke about that like everybody will have a house as soon as the add on comes in.

The limit is not temporary. 2.4 doubling wards is still limited.

console need to be able to load the data too... it's not without reason that name of item, bag and even city have limitation. personally i doubt it's the console, but if i can't find a decent reason for what they have done with this... it will only means one thing. and i refuse to believe that.

But here's the bottom line: If you don't want to see or hear people bitching about personal housing, then leave. Leave the forums, but if I were you, I'd go ahead and cancel your subscription. Because you are going to hear people bitching about this colossal screw up for a long time.
