Not sure...personally I really liked the dagger thing in XI with Dancer, but I understand not wanting to step on Rouge/Ninja's toes. Hmmm maybe something barehanded like:

I had actually thought about some sort of bangle you could put on your character wrists or fans but I thought bangles would encroach on Pugilist and Monk's fisticuffs and would have to be visible with hand-armor on, while I was worried that people would say fans were too effeminate. Fans might not actually be a bad substitute though.

Really curious about how you think a fan dance can be designed without approaching the "homoeroticism" you think SE has put in the game.

While I think the tambourines are fine, those Chinese rattle-drums came to mind when thinking of a more gender-neutral weapon.
