Personal Housing Complaint Thread

Just trowing my 2 cents in here, there has been enough walls of text posted.
Im simply disappointed. The poor and misleading communication made me feel tricked and the bad realisation makes me feel like SE dont gives a damn about us. I am sure it was not intendet, and difficult things happend during developing the housing system, and its not allways easy to handle these. But how you managed it in the end felt like a slap in the face. This is my personal biggest downer that game gave me ever. Its like the trust you guys won back in the days as you took over the lead in 1.0, you just trashed it. I personally dont really know what to think of the devs anymore...

My thoughts exactly, specially the bolded part. I mean wtf did we wait all this time for? All they did was essentially turn a 0 to a 1 and allowed players to buy what was already there for FC's. All this is feeling very familiar to the development philosophies of 1.0. Almost every feature we've been promised and looked forward to since (re)release has turned out to be full of unnecessary, redundant roadblocks which sole purpose revolves around cutting corners for them, and frustrating the living s**t out of players because to the FFXIV dev team, time/gil sinks > fun.

Im starting to think its time to take a break. Maybe re-evaluate whether or not its worth continuing to invest time and money in this game and development team.
