What happened to 800k personal housing?

I think this should be a lesson: Don't implement something if it's going to piss everyone off! Someone is reasonably well off if they have 500k gil or more, and that is just a fraction of what is needed to buy one house. We are talking a literal log cabin in the woods that, if we go by the lumber market in this game, would probably only cost maybe 5% of what the damn things cost in the WARDS!

I don't know, this is just so bad that all I can do is roll around laughing.

If you guys think this is rough, go take a gander at Archeage and the insanity they had with their housing. Literally all the plots were taken up by people during the head start and many of them may or may not even be using the plots, having only unfinished houses sitting around dotting the landscape. We just don't have the man power to support open world housing in the MMO industry it seems, unless it's super competitive limited edition housing or something. I'm greatly interested to see where Shroud of the Avatar ends up.
