Regardless, I think people deserve to be treated with respect and decency, rich or poor, professional or indieThis isn't some indie dev team running on hopes and dreams. To whom much is given, much is expected.
And if "waiting till the next patch" so they fan make a spectacle out of problems that should have been fixed because they came up before, they do not deserve our patience.
When expectations are not met criticism should be given constructively, not raging and demanding people to resign
I think its funny because if the prices were that low, I know half of the people wouldn't of been able to get their houses and ended up right back in forums.
Complaining how they didn't get a house cause the price was too low and everyone bought them before they could get theirs.
I'm still shocked that I play with hella immature people such as the people in this thread, starting from below the OP on down.
You people are pathetic. I'm mad too, but you don't see me crucifying Yoshi-P over it with such intensity.
The funny thing is you all will continue to give your money to SE and continue to play the game. But keep acting like personal housing completely ruined your collective experiences, I'll be here laughing at how amazingly silly you all sound.

I like the fact that cosmetic features are the concerns of most of XIV ARR communities gripes; No wonder the game is so fluffy.
It's a disappointment but it's not like they've dropped the idea completely. It just may take them another few years or so to deliver on what was stated, kinda like FFXI's new summons.
Remember who you're dealing with. Sit back and enjoy the ride; Holding your breath for anything less is hazardous to your health.
Please stop trying to make Yoshi-P and the dev team seem like the victims here.

Am I upset/pissed off about the situation? Yes, of course I am. The absolute cheapest house at the opening of the servers would have been way out of my price range, and with the lack of space in the wards they are probably all gone already, I've not been on to check yet. Am I pleased that space will be effectivley doubled with 2.4? Yes, but I (like many others) don't honestly think that's going to be enough, and the price just makes that worse. I want this changed, I think it has been both poorley thought out and implimented.
...do you see how easy that was to do without resorting to name calling, personal attacks and shouting at people for "white knighting"? The level of attacks and toxicity on these forums has always been.... disturbing to me, but this is getting way out of hand. Is housing a problem? Yes, but that doesn't mean you can/should act like a rabble of abusive monkeys. We already know that it's only a small percentage of the playerbase that's actually signed up here, and it really has always seemed to me that the vast majority of forum users do so so they can complain about something. They have never been representitive of the playerbase as a whole, gladly (I hope that SE realise this).
They are trying to make all of you happy but it takes time but you guys say no.
You know what gold member would say if you told him that?
Then there is no pleasing you.
No one is really trying to make them seem like the victim. It's really how people are behaving, express that you're upset..but don't go like it's the end of the world and insult like you're under the age of 13. Some people are really overreacting to this. I admire the people that are upset..but being mature here. They are expressing that they are upset, but they're not name calling or jumping at people saying they're being "white knights" or whatever else these children here are doing.
