I agree with OP.
I'm not a big fan of how housing has been implemented in FFXIV, but there are some aspects of the game I love.
I think some of this witch hunt stuff is going way too far.
Try and remember that the dev's are people too, and people with huge amounts of pressure from a lot of angles too.
It can be pretty rough to have people bash your work, and even you personally when it's something you actually dedicate a lot of time and effort to.

This isn't some indie dev team running on hopes and dreams. To whom much is given, much is expected.

And if "waiting till the next patch" so they fan make a spectacle out of problems that should have been fixed because they came up before, they do not deserve our patience.

Regardless, I think people deserve to be treated with respect and decency, rich or poor, professional or indie
