He should be ashamed about lying to his player base. He said before that personal housing would be SEPARATE from FC housing AND more affordable, neither are true. There really is no excuse as to why they couldn't have implemented player house when FC housing originally, in fact there would have probably been less of a mad dash since prices were way higher.

As far as constructive criticism? I, along with MANY others, provided it when this fiasco first happened with FC housing. And no, I was not satisfied with the 'fix' they put in. I understood the reasoning as a fc has many members to pool their resources, but satisfied? Hell no!

And now this SAME system, with absurd pricing varied by server to make sure only the rich And the quick have a shot at housing, is being thrown at the individual buyer, WHO MUST COMPETE WITH FCs ON TOP OF IT? I am done being constructive. They didn't learn their lesson on Christmas, they won't learn it now.

This this this!! This takes precedence over everything in my opinion. There was even talk from a rep the other day that gardening might not make it in with personal housing, so I have to ask, WHY NOT WHEN YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED A DAMN THING! It doesn't make sense on any level!!! That, to me, was indicative something different was planned. Not the same content!

I'm not a big fan of how housing has been implemented in FFXIV, but there are some aspects of the game I love.
I think some of this witch hunt stuff is going way too far.
Try and remember that the dev's are people too, and people with huge amounts of pressure from a lot of angles too.
It can be pretty rough to have people bash your work, and even you personally when it's something you actually dedicate a lot of time and effort to.

These are people who are immensely busy with a lot on their plate, keeping their "promise" is not always going to be possible, I'd be surprised if he can even remember that post (I can't)

This isn't some indie dev team running on hopes and dreams. To whom much is given, much is expected.

And if "waiting till the next patch" so they fan make a spectacle out of problems that should have been fixed because they came up before, they do not deserve our patience.
