Who's going to try and get their house when servers come up?

So who here is going to try and get a deal on a house from the old wards when the servers go back up? I am guessing the devalued houses will sell fast. Which ward would you try for? I don't know but on my server Uldah is really unpopular but gridinia and limsa are pretty full.

Just so you know you need a free company rank 6 to buy a Plot for a house.

Even when you buy the land the house permit is another 500k
If your FC don't pitch in to buy a how or you are penny pinching you are gonna lose out pure and simple.

Don't blame SE blame your company if they want it, why aren't they helping.

Especially if its a medium or large.

No one in their right mind would, other then gill buyers, but they don't understand or care for the value of things anyway so it won't mean anything to them. the actual legit players i doubt it, even if i had massive riches i would not buy them at those prices.

Even if this worked, and patch notes say it won't, literally every single plot is owned on Excalibur so it wouldn't matter for me =/

Not sure whether to take the 'new' in that quote to include plots that have already been devalued or only 'new' plots after a plot has been abandoned.
If old plots are the same, I'm going to get the plot I've had my eyes set on in uldah[because I really love the style of their houses and am bored of my gridania home]. If they've been reset, I'll wait.
I'll try for whatever ward seems the quietest because I really dislike seeing people spamming skills when I just want to craft by the board in peace.

On legacy servers which have a lot more gil in the economy 5m seems really cheap even for the most expensive small house. You can use the garden and grow stuff like onions for chocobos which sell for 1.5m and easily make back your money.

I'm going to buy one and I'm neither insane or a gil buyer.

I'm no market genious or master crafter so I really dont get all this outrage about "insane prices". 4m for the best small house seems fine and it will be lowered as time passes along with the housing wards that we will get in... what? 6 weeks?

People need to calm de fck down.
