Ok to you raiders, from a 'casual/vanity' player.
Imagine that they added a new raid, a really great raid that dropped some sick i120 gear.
This gear you were absolutely STOKED for. You spent the last few months making sure you were geared up and everything was ready so you could jump right into the raid and get your gear as soon as it went live.
Assume you are a bard.
But it only dropped gear for white mages and dragoons.
And if you were not a whm or drg you would not get the new, better gear.
And then you were told that some other gear would be added in a future patch, but you are not sure if it will include your class in any reasonable time from here on out.
Well, I can only agree with the others, then. More competition means prices are going down a lot, making it harder for me (us) to make gil. We only make so much gil because most players don't.
Hmm. I see your point. The devs talked about an "automatic vacating" function that put houses back on the market after being untouched for a while but then scraped the idea. Maybe they should give it a 2nd look? Here's the kicker in that note:
As stated in the patch notes for Patch 2.38, the plots of land available for purchase in the housing areas will be the same for both Free Company and individual buyers. The introduction of housing plots in the future will also follow this structure.
Personal and Free Company housing will share the SAME plots, future wards will follow the SAME structure. The SAME pricing if this follows true then. People are upset because they've been lied to here. And no matter HOW many wards they release there is and always will be a shortage on areas for housing.
........ you seriously have no idea what I am saying.
If ppl get make their own stuff don't you think they will farm them too?
I sittng on x99 crit materia III and x80++ Det materia III. You know why I am not selling them?
Answer, everyone have those already. The market board is over salutrated.
The point I am trying to drive across is, gil will not be made easily, if everyone does everything themselves.
Heli's Black Market open for business. Sells black market items for your exotic needs.
closed for business till further notice
Hmmm I just want my own damn house like we had in XI. Return of the Mog Houses..I don't care how instanced it would have to be, I just want my own space with a garden and a choco stable. The fact that they are using the same wards as FC housing is a bit of a slap in the face and one thing I was afraid of.
In a perfect world we'd have the personal housing wards attached to the cities, not far out the way they are. Hugh..... I'd take a revamped decorable inn room at this point.
Well if you want a non-garden involved method, I used the duty roulette on tank allot (Tank is usually the job type that is needed most) and then used it to fund my Alchemy. I burn my Myth stones on tawny latex and turn it into Termy putty and sold it on the market. It sells fast and for about 30k each on my server even when the market is flooded due to it being a widely used ingredient in crafting. I don't know if this would work for you but it is what got me my moniez in my early crafting career. Hope this helps.
Alright, I see what you're saying now. If the non-crafters all started crafting, etc. That I can agree with.
I'm... kind of on this as well right now. I'm really not sure why they did it this way. I thought it would be something like the personal rooms/inn rooms, but with an instanced yard or a planter box to garden in, or at least separate wards somehow. I dunno. All I can figure is that maybe they already realized that a large chunk of the Small houses on a given server were all held by a short list of large, rich FC's to begin with, so they decided to simply shrug and make it so that they could bypass the whole "sidestepping the system by making a new FC" bit.
Admittedly, part of the reason I'm not as upset as some people is probably because my FC already has a house and we're already doing fine with it. I don't really have any urge at this point to buy up another plot, spend the money to decorate it, etc. I can see why people that have wanted separate individual housing are pretty sorely disappointed.
The Tier III market in particular got really saturated lately, yeah. They're so cheap on my server I just throw mine into the company storage for people that need them for relic/novus. Tier IV are still really good, though.
