THM didn't get nerfed. THM is the basis for BLM. BLM isn't a main healer, so why should THM be? Also, the jobs are coming 1.20+. Btw, the 10char tag is for the 10 character limit on the forums...

If you don't like the IMPROVEMENTS to the game, you are free to leave. You haven't gotten very far anyway so you aren't losing anything at all.

I would like to say that that thread should not have been bombed either. Despite its /quit OP it was really just a bunch of melee rejoicing that mages are now reduced to cure/passive hoes.

Soloing seems to be pooched, and I am really wondering why I keep clicking on this forum because not many seem to care. Most of the mage haters have no 50's and play boring ass melee.

Fine Emulate had to be nerfed, that was obvious. But someone who only plays a GLA, and cured for hate (lol) really just wants an xi-2, THEY ARENT MAKING XI-2

I want engaging party play too dude, I want enfeebles to land (you referred to Slow and Paralyze as DoT's..........), I want to have single target cures that don't prevent me from having MP unless I'm in leves or behest passive mode running from mob to mob. I wanna pull mobs to a camp and not have to chase them. Running is too much of this damn game.

NM and instance are gonna be boring as FUCK for mages who get stuck with cure role. Don't tell me otherwise when YOU DON'T KNOW, and haven't ranked up CON or THM to late game. I don't and abhor equally ppl who follow the behest/leve group spamming curing and watching TV. Yet, I am still BITCHING about the cure cost (and recast time) of these single target spells.

When I log in, if its as bad as its spelled out, I too will be gone. I have logged in every day since early october. I have had my character since standard edition release. My opinion counts, I played XI for 5+ years, with 7 75s of which all "mages" were included.... except SCH was 37.

You can call me back yoshi when you fix the mp cost, and if that requires mp auto-refresh to be removed or nerfed DO IT.

If it isn't obvious for you, CON is obviously the WHM (look at the recent skill implementations). So, if CON is the WHM, and THM is the only other mage, who's going to be BLM? THM.

Once you utilize a job, it will (I assume) lock out certain skills while giving you access to others. So, on CON, since it is WHM, it will lock out the elemental spells and on THM, when you activate BLM, it will probably activate the elemental spells as BLM will have it's own affinity. See?

So if I exclusively leveled THM to 30 to unlock BLM, you're saying that after that I will need to level CON to 44 so that my BLM can cast ancient elemental magic? Doesn't that seem a bit disconnected to you??

But I honestly wouldn't put it pass SE. These are the same guys that released the Summoner job for FFXI, and said you need to take SMN to 60 before you get the privilege of summoning an avatar other than Carbuncle. Their sadistic like that sometimes.
